Tooth Fairy Time!

With a wee bit of help from Tommy Boy, Jack lost his first tooth tonight!  We've been anxiously awaiting this event since we discovered Jack's adult teeth were coming in behind his baby teeth.  His bottom front teeth have been loose for weeks, meriting daily wiggle checks by Daddy.  Tonight, one of them was so loose that it came free with a quick yank.  Jack took it like a champ, not even batting an eyelash over the blood while I looked on bravely in horror.

Madam was aghast, worrying that her "brudder's mouf hurt!" until she found out that there were financial advantages to losing a tooth.  Now she is totally pissed that all of her teeth are firmly in place.  Knowing her steely resolve, we have hidden the pliers just in case.

Jack is tucked into bed with his tooth in the special Tooth Fairy pillow he made at preschool last year.  I can't believe my tiny preemie is old enough to have lost a tooth.  How these years have flown!

Congrats Jack!

I'm LMAO at the pics where Nattie is checking out her own teeth. Good thing you hid the pliers ;)
