Paging Dr. 90210

This morning while we showered together, Natalie asked me when she'll have boobs that point down like mine rather than dots like Jack and Daddy have.  *sigh*  Given her tender age, I went the simple route and simply said when she's a grown-up.  Left unsaid is that plastic surgery is always an option to bolster the gals if they head south for the winter and end up staying there year round but hopefully she'll choose to grow older semi-gracefully naturally like me.  God forbid her self-image ever be so fragile that she would consider elective surgery for something so superficial.

Pointing down...out of the mouths of babes, I swear.  My dear friend had a similar experience recently where her child told her that she looked like an octopus but with 4 arms instead of 8.  Yes, he counted her poor breasts as octopus arms.  ("Long and stringy!" she lamented as she told me the story.)  Made me wonder what kind of bra she's wearing because everything seemed to be right where it was pre-pregnancies so kudos to her underwear designer.  Funny coincidence that we both had disparaging boob comments from our children in such a small window of time.  What were those little hooligans discussing behind closed playroom doors at our last playdate???
