Friday evening, Jack was laying on the floor with Bonnie, keeping her entertained while I cleaned up the carnage from dinner. I was drifting along in my own thoughts when I noticed that he was calling her "Bonbino." Ever critical, I said, "No, honey. It's bambino. BAMbino is Spanish for baby, not BONbino." Big sigh from Mr. Jack. "MOM, I KNOW THAT. She's Bonnie and she's a baby so I call her BONBINO."
Color me gobsmacked. He is so SMART. *insert big, cheesy, proud Mommy grin here*
