Sheemee's Little Mommy

The scene:  My kitchen.  I was making muffins for breakfast while Madam played The Alphabet Song over and over and OVER on the Leapfrog fridge magnet.  Her, dancing; me, ready to scream from the grating repetition but remaining silent, knowing that she isn't actually doing anything wrong.

N:  Mommy, when my baby comes out of your belly, I'm going to sing this song to my baby to help her sleep.

C:  Awww, sweetie, that is so nice!  She will love that.

N:  Yeah, she will.  It will be my baby's favorite song.

Not even 8:00 a.m. and my precious girl already fill my heart to bursting with love and pride.  Her temper may be fierce but it's dwarfed by her sweetness.

Aw, that is so sweet. I like how she refers to the baby as "my baby"...
