Actually, new friends are great, too. but a new friend would not know your favorite line from your favorite Hooters song -- the one that makes you cry every time you've heard it since being exiled to Dorkaware -- and have that line added to a portrait of the most beautiful skyline you've ever seen. All for your birthday, the one you thought would suck.
From Soph Hop to Senior Week, from concerts to Carter's, from General to Grey's, nobody knows my history like she does. Thinking about how long we've know each other doesn't make me feel old because when we're together, we laugh like when we were young and there is no greater gift than that.
