Gotta say...glad it's over. Between my mother's justified Easter-inspired rants (why did God get His son back in three days but she didn't???) and Jack's imaginative Easter-inspired resurrection theories (maybe if we bake a cake and put it on his grave, Uncle Jonathan will climb out to eat it, Mom!), I'm just about done with this non-holiday once and for all. Never have liked it, even when I was a child. Sure, having candy for breakfast and getting new jelly sandals every year was cool but ham for dinner? Not a good trade-off.

Natalie isn't a fan of Easter either, not that she's a fan of anything except screaming, sassing and shaking her head "no" these days. At least she let me put her in a fancy dress although she drew the line at doing something as taxing as smiling for a picture in it. My girl, bless her heart, definitely fits that "girls are tougher to raise than boys" stereotype quite often these days but her wardrobe makes up for it. (Most of the time.)
Looks like a cherub, doesn't she? Don't let her sweet looks fool ya. She'll tear your face off like a rabid weasel then blow you a kiss and sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" just for shits and giggles.
All of the glorious Easter pictures:
